About these terms

These terms apply when you use scns.lk or place an order with Colombo Commercial (Private) Limited, trading as SCNS Siva Cashew Nuts ("SCNS", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using the website you agree to them.

Products and availability

We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately. Images are for illustration and packaging may vary slightly. All products are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund of any payment made.

Prices

All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Prices may change without notice, but the price shown when you place your order is the price that applies to that order, unless an obvious error has been made, in which case we will contact you before proceeding.

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it to you by phone, WhatsApp or email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if stock is unavailable or we cannot deliver to your address. You will see your total, including any delivery charge, before you place your order.

Delivery

We deliver across Sri Lanka. Delivery charges depend on your delivery district and are shown at checkout before you place your order. We will confirm the expected delivery time when we confirm your order. Delivery times are estimates, and we are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control. Please make sure your address and phone number are correct and that someone is available to receive the order.

Payment

You can pay by bank transfer or cash on delivery. A cash-handling fee is added to cash on delivery orders and is shown at checkout. For bank transfers, we send our bank details when we confirm your order and dispatch the order once payment is received. Your sales order is generated when you place your order, and you can download it or send it to us on WhatsApp.

Wholesale orders

Wholesale supply has a minimum order quantity of 20kg, cash on delivery, a lead time of 3-5 business days, and credit terms for approved repeat customers. Pricing is quoted individually. Terms agreed in writing with your quote apply instead of the retail terms above where they differ.

Using the website

The content of this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to SCNS or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Please do not misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer law.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the terms that apply to it.
