This website, scns.lk, is operated by Colombo Commercial (Private) Limited, trading as SCNS Siva Cashew Nuts ("SCNS", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why we collect it and how we look after it.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address and message when you use a contact form.
- Orders: your name, phone number, optional email address, delivery address, order notes, the items you order and your chosen payment method.
- Wholesale quote requests: your business name, contact person, phone, email, delivery district and your requirements.
Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser so that it is still there when you return. It is not sent to us until you place an order. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and prepare quotes.
- To confirm, prepare, deliver and invoice your orders.
- To contact you about your order by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To keep business, accounting and legal records.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the website and handle your information on our behalf:
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions and order notifications to our email inbox.
- Supabase stores our order and product records.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site.
- WhatsApp is used if you choose to message us or send us your invoice there.
We may also share your name, phone number and delivery address with a delivery partner where this is needed to deliver your order. We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as needed for our business, accounting and legal obligations. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
In line with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it. You may also withdraw your consent to us contacting you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to order records. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please share only what is needed.
Children
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
